• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1(09(0 -g(o <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF THE <br /> SOUTH BEND MUNICIPAL CODE, ENTITLED BUILDINGS <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> To provide minimum standards to safeguard life , public <br /> safety and welfare, and real and personal property by regulating <br /> the design and construction of buildings and structures in the City <br /> of South Bend and to update the Municipal Code fee schedules, <br /> certain amendments and additions to the South Bend Municipal Code , <br /> Chapter 6, entitled Buildings are required . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION I. Chapter 6, Article 1, Section 6-4 of the <br /> South Bend Municipal Code is amended as follows : <br /> Section 6-4 .
