5 (37 <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. Melnerny absent.. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 415. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an <br />improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Pipe <br />serer on Sherman avenue from'Van Buren street south to about the first alley North of <br />,Michigan avenue. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE SHERMAN AVENUE <br />PIPE SEWER IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifi- <br />cations prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution <br />shall be published on the 31st day of October and on the 7th day of November 1906, <br />in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its <br />office in the City Hall on the 20th day of November 1906, at 10 A. M. <br />A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the <br />property owner signs waiver required as according to law. Which said bonds shall bear <br />interest at the rate of five per cent per annum, payable as provided bylaw. <br />Adopted this 30th day of October, 1906. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />ACTING PRESIDENT. <br />SPECIAL SESSION TUESDAY EVENING OCTOBER 30TH, 1906 AT 7:15 P. M. <br />The Board met in Special Sepsion at 7:15 P. M. All members present. <br />Hearing given on Assessment Rolls and final Estimates for Cement curb and grading <br />on Olive street from Kenwood avenue to Michigan avenue, Grade, Curb & Walk on Pulaski <br />4treet from Dunham street to Sample street; Grade, Curb & Walk on Leer street from <br />Dayton street to Calvert street, Pipe Sewer on Marietta street from Sample street to Ohio <br />4treet, Concrete Trunk Sewer on Kenwood avenue and Meade street from Johnson street to <br />Linden avenue, All under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 362, 365, 3762374 & 304 respectively <br />.No remonstrants appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find <br />that he property assessed in said rolls filed October 16th, 1906, im benefitted in the <br />amount of assessments as shown on said rolls and the fi5se�smetit, roll filed -October- 16th:9. <br />7906, and .the final estimate allowed October 16th, 1906, should be and the same is <br />hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Hearing on Assessment Rolls and final estimates for Water Connections on N. Taylor <br />street from Michigan avenue to Marion street and. Cement Curb on Walnut street from <br />Division to Ford: -street, under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 410 & 356, was deferred <br />until Friday November 2nd, 1906, at 10 A. M. <br />
