5 ®,.-) <br />Prida <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. Papczynski absent. <br />Engineer filed Assessment Rolls and final estimates for the following improvements: <br />Brick Pavement on West Tutt street from the Chicago &,S. R. R. R. to Prairie avenue; <br />Brick Pavement -on Leland avenue from Marion street to Portae avenue; Brick Pavement on <br />Cushing street from Michigan avenue to P6rtage avenue; Pipe Sewer &n Chestnut street from <br />Washington street to Jeffer-on street; Water Connections on Lafayette street from Sample <br />street to Broadway street. All under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 341, 347, 3292 3222 <br />743 respectively. <br />Resolved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six con- <br />secutive days in the South Bend Daily Times, coi_�mencing on the 4th day of August, 1906, <br />stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its <br />office in the City Hall on the 14th day of August 1906, at 7:15 P. M. <br />Resolved further,,that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted and <br />-pproved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be pub- <br />lished on the 4th day of August 1906, in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this <br />Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work.at its office in the City Hall' <br />on the 14th day of August 1906, at 7:15 P. 14. <br />Petition filed by the School Board for Brick Pavement on the Alley North of Washing- <br />ton street from Lafayette street to William street; Grade on Blaine avenue and Cleveland <br />avenue from Quincy street to Alley south; Walk & Curb on Blaine avenue and Cleveland <br />avenue from Vassar avenue to Alley south of Quincy street; Walk & Curb on Quincy street <br />from AllerE street to Cleveland avenue; Walk & Curb on Vassar avenue from Alley west <br />of Allen street to Cleveland avenue. Referred to the Engineer for Specifications. <br />Remonstrance filed against the Asphalt Pavement on Notre Dame street from Jefferson <br />street to Cedar street. Signed by Dike Welch et al. <br />The following Contracts were awarded: <br />Cushing street Sewer Connections Staples & Ackerman <br />Cushing street Water Connections W. H.
