Friday Janu <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 AIi. All members present. <br />Contract awarded to the Howe Scale Company for the public scale to be installed <br />in the rear of the Central Fire -Station. Contract price $310.00 <br />Remonstrance filed by M. J. Warrell and Jane Warrel against the amount of <br />their assessments on the Portage avenue grading. <br />Hearing given on the Assessment Roll and final -estimate for the grading of <br />Portage avenue from the I. I. & I. Viaduct to the City Limits, under Improvement <br />Resolution No. 258. <br />In the above matter remonstrances were filed and remonstrators appeared. The <br />Board being adtised find that said roll should be amended. The Board therefore find <br />that the property assessed in said rollt filed December 19th 1905, is benefitted in <br />the amount of assessments as shown on said roll, as amended. Therefore the Board find <br />that the assessment roll filed December 19th, 1905, as amended., and the final <br />estimate allowed December 19th, 1905, should be and the same is hereby in all things <br />ratified, Confirmed and approved. <br />Hearing given on Vacation Resolution No. 40, adopted on the 9th day of <br />January , 1906?? vacating the following; described propert�, to -wit • ����` �� ��` �"" s Suh- <br />oZ'Bo� 82 0-P 41- S�eo�7t% �/o f aT o�,3CotS oft/�a � ow � .maw C. y of fo u��1 �e >�G'our�f <br />'5'f e.r e, Xc Sif %fit G�o Eos7f"si .✓� G//l09 /o /"s <br />All of Lots Five (5 x (6), Seven (7). Eight (8)2 Sixteen (16), Seventeen <br />(17), Eighteen (19), Nineteen (19), Twenty (20), Twenty one (21), and Twenty-two (22), <br />and all of Harlin Court from Washington street to the south line of Jefferson street. <br />That part of the alley lying east and. west along the North side of said lot <br />Sixteen that lies between the northeast corner of said Lot Sixteen and Harlin Court; <br />All of Jefferson street lying between the west line of Harlin Court and the cen- <br />ter line of Cherry street, except the parcel thereof bounded by aline running as <br />follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Cherry street and the <br />North line of Jefferson street; thence running west to the Southeast corner of Lot <br />Twenty-two (22); thence South Sixteen (16) feet; thence east;to the center line <br />of Cherry street; thence North to the place of beginning. <br />In the above matter no remonstrantors appeared and no remonstrances were filed. <br />The Board therefore declare the above described property in all things vacated. <br />The property of A. G. Harlin is benefitted in the amount of $25.00. No property <br />is injuriously affected. The property of A. G. Harlin is therefore assessed in <br />the amount of $25.00. Now comes A. G. Harlin and waiving notice of assessment under <br />Vacation Resolution No. 40, pays u-'1to the treasury of said City the sum of $25.00 <br />VN-OU <br />President.. <br />
