38S <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A.-M. All members present.. <br />Permission given to Mr. Smith to occupy a portion of Broadway street temporarily. <br />Bond of E. Burner & Co filed and aoproved for the oonstruction of the No. 9 <br />Hose House. Contract signed for the same. <br />Remonstrance filed against the Crescent avenue pipe sewer. <br />Hearing given on Declaratory resolution for Trunk Sewer on Kenwood avenue and <br />Meade street from Johnson street to Linden avenue under Impro vement Resolution <br />No. 304. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. <br />The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the <br />benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated <br />cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed <br />and approved. <br />Engineer filed estimated cost as follows: <br />Kenwood avenue & Meade street Trunk Sewer...'$26,600.00 <br />Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the <br />29th day of November and on the 6th day of December, 1905, to the effect that this <br />Board will receive bids for said improvements up to 10 a. m.'on the 20th day of <br />December, 1905.
