304 <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. Papczynski absent. <br />Bids were opened and referred to the Engineer for tabulation for the following <br />improvements: <br />Brick Pavement on Rea street, Brick Pavement on the alley West of <br />Michigan street, Pipe Sewer on Bronson street. <br />The opening of Bids for Electric wiring and Plumbing for No. 3 and No. 8 <br />Hose Housed was deferred until Friday October 6th, 1905, at 10 A. M. <br />Bond of Henri DeVos & Co filed and approved for Oak street Pipe Sewer. Contract <br />signed for same. <br />Bond of Tom 14. Bauer filed and approved for the Notre Dame street Grade,& Curb <br />and River avenue Grade, Curb & Walk. Contracts signed for same. <br />Siders & Co were given an extension of 30 days on the grading of Portage Ave. <br />Kizer and Woolverton were notified to repair the walk in fron of their <br />property at the Bennett Tea Store. Same to be done immediately. <br />Hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 21, condemning and appropriating <br />the following described property: <br />Begin on east line of Webster street at a point 10.6 feet south of the south line <br />of the Right of Way of. the I. I. & I. R. R., thence northeasterly with said south <br />line of Right of Way to south line of Huron street, thence east 53.( Feet, thence <br />southwesterly to a point 22.1 feet South of beginning. thence North to place of <br />beginning. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. <br />The Board therefore find, that the above described property shoul be and the same <br />is hereby in all things condemned and appropriated for the pure o neeting <br />Huron street and Webster street for public use. <br />c I J-A <br />President. k" <br />
