re 0` E. The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. Light ordered at the Corner of Rush street and Dubail avenue. Mrs. Ella E. Miller given permission to grade the alley West of Main str�-et running south from Navarre street. Bond of Hoban & Roach filed and approved for Pipe Sewer on E. Wayne street. Contract signed for same. Engineer filed Assessment Rolls and Final Estimates for the following improve- ments, to -wit: - Brick Pavement on Arnold street from Division street to Sample street Brick Pavement on Vistula avenue.from Leer street to Ernsperger street, Brick pavement on Portage avenue from Forest avenue to I. I. & I. R. R. Viaduct, all under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 2402 243 h 241 respectively. Resolved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six consecutive days in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune commencing on the 20th day of September, 1905, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 3rd day of October, 1905, at 7:15 P. M. Resolved fuzLther, that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 20th day of September, 1905, in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 3rd slay o October 1905, at 7:15 P. Remonstrance Piled against the Ford street Pipe Sewer. Hearing on the Ford street Pipe Sewer, deferred until Sept 26th, 19052 at 7:15 Pm Hearing given on Declaratory Resolutions for Brick Pavement on alley West of Michigan street from South street to Alley South, Pipe Sewer on Bronson street from Lafayette street to Main street, Brick Pavement on Rex street from Portage avenue to Leland avenue, all under Improvement Res. Nos. 291, 2922 293, respectively. Engineer filed estimated cost as follows: Alley Brick Pavement .................... $ 412.00 Bronson street Pipe Sewer .............. /*00,0 0 Rex street Brick Pavement..............3X0 % 60 In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
