The Board met in regular session at 1Q.01c10ck A.M. All members presant. Contract for Pipe sewer on High street and Wenger street Awarded to Hoban & Roach. Contract for Grade Curb & Walk on Haney avenue from Michigan street to Carroll street, Awarded M.S.Rogers. Contract for Grade Curb & Walk on Birdsell street and Sancome avenue, from Linden avenue to LsPorte avenue, Awarded t6 Shipe & Turner. Engineer reported Grade on Alleys between Marion street and Navarre street.and^ Main: street and -Lafayette:-streets Hearinon Assessment olls�for the following improvements to -wit Brick Pavement on Eastgg Colfax avenue, from Sycamore street to East end of River Bridge, Also Pipe Sewer on St:Louis street from Madison street to St.Joseph River* under improvement resolutions No.236 & 242 respectively. In the above improvements No remonstrators appeared:and.fio remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed August 22nd,1905, is benofitted in the amount of assessmentw as shown on said rolls and the°Board find th&t the assessment rolls filed August 22nd, 1905. and the final estimates allowed thereon ,August 22nd,1905. should be and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO? 296. RESOLVED BY THE BOARD"OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND2 INDIANA. That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Cement Sidewalk on north side of Dayton spreet,from Marietta street to Rush street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as the EAST DAYTON STREET SIDEWALK. and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith.. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 15th, day of•September and on the 22nd, day of September,1905. in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 26th, day of September 1905, at 7:15 P.M. A bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the Property owner signs the waiver required.according to law. ADOPTED THIS 16th,DAY OF SEPTEMBER11905.
