TUESDAY EVENING AUGUST 22ND, 1905,. SPECIAL SESSION AT 7:15 P. M. <br />The Board met in Special Session at 7:15 P. M. Mr- Papczynski absent. <br />.Hearing given on Assessment Rolls and Final Estimates for the following Improvements, <br />to-wit;-- <br />_Grade;&""Curb on Marietta street from Sample street to Pennsylvania avenue, stalks <br />on Johnson street front Linden avenue to Bertrand street, Brick Pavement.on Elm street from <br />Washington street to City Cemetery, Brick Pavement on Hill street from Jefferson street <br />to Corby street. All under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 259, 252, 247 & 227 respectively. <br />Hearing on Elm street Brick Pavement deferred until Saturday August 26th, 1905, at <br />10 A. M. <br />'.Hearing on Hill street-Hrick•Pdvement deferred until Saturday August 26th, 19052 <br />at 10 A. I4. <br />No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrancew were filed. The board therefore find <br />that -the property assessed in said rolls filed August 2nd, 1905, is benefitted in the <br />amount of assessments as shown on said rolls and the Board find that the assessment roll <br />filed August 2nd, 1905, and the final estimate allowed August 2nd, 1905 should be and <br />the same is hereby in all.things .ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Hearing given on Declaratory Resolutions for the following Improvements, to -wit;- <br />Pipe Sewer on Sherman avenue from Michigan avenue to the south end of Sherman avenue, <br />Pipe Sewer on Allen street, Vassar avenue & Blaine avenue, from Quincy street to Portage <br />avenue, Pipe Sewer on E. Wayne street from St. Louis street to St. Peter.street. All under <br />Improvement Resolutions Nos. 275, 2762 277 respectively. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The <br />Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits to the <br />property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvements <br />and the same are hereby -in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Be it resolved that notices be published in the South.Bend Daily Times on the 23rd day <br />of August and on the 30th day of August, 1905, to the effect that this Board will receive <br />bids for said improvements up to .10 A.•M on the 5th day of September, 1905, The Board <br />reserves the right to reject any and all bids. <br />Hearing on Delcaratory Resolution for Pipe Sewer on Oak street from Scott street to <br />Cottage Grove avenue, under Improvement Resolution No 274, deferred until Tuesday <br />August 29th, 1905, at 7:15 P. M. <br />Engineer filed estimated cost <br />Sherman avenue Pipe Sewer <br />Allen Blaine and Vassar - <br />Wayne street Pipe Sewer <br />0 4 /< <br />of the improvements as follows. <br />1,300.00 <br />32122.00 <br />990.00 <br />President. <br />
