However, the <br />Illinois Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act does not apply to any <br />work performed in Indiana. The Illinois Cannabis Regulation <br />and Tax Act also expressly permits employers from adopting <br />reasonable drug-free workplace policies, which can prohibit the <br />smoking, consumption, storage, or use of cannabis at the <br />workplace or while on call. <br />The BCRC Policy expressly prohibits use, possession, distribution, <br />delivery, and being under the influence of a drug or alcohol while <br />performing any work for the Employer. Such prohibitions apply <br />to cannabis, all other drugs, and alcohol, and apply to all work <br />subject to the BCRC Policy, including any such work in Illinois. <br />The Illinois Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act does not affect this <br />BCRC Policy. <br />INDIANA— DRUGTESTING FOR PUBLIC WORKS - <br />IND.
