After no bids were received, <br />the Board of Public Works motioned bids could be requested via the open market. Once in open <br />market, four (4) bids were received. They are as follows: <br /> <br /> Base Bid <br />Architect’s Estimate $1,698,000 <br />Midland Engineering $1,268,400 <br />Slatile Roofing $1,338,812 <br />Hoekstra Roofing $1,349,000 <br />Malcor Roofing of Illinois $1,452,000 <br /> <br /> <br />After reviewing Midland Engineering’s bid, it is requested the Board of Public Works award <br />the project to Midland Engineering for the bid price of $1,268,400. <br /> <br />Midland Engineering has met all bid requirements including MWBE goals. <br /> <br />Thank you for your consideration of this request. <br /> <br />
