Earlier this year, the Council's Zoning and Annexation Committee authorized <br /> Second District the filing of a proposed text amendment to the current city zoning regulations <br /> codified in Chapter 21 of the South Bend Municipal Code. <br /> Thomas LaFountain <br /> Third District I am attaching a draft of a zoning text amendment which would: <br /> Ann Puzzello Add definitions for chicken coop or chicken pen and add them to the list <br /> •Fourth District <br /> of accessory buildings in residential districts <br /> David Varner <br /> Fifth District • Add Development Standards for chickens, chicken coops and chicken <br /> pens by limiting the total number of chickens allowed to four (4) per <br /> Oliver J. Davis dwelling and would only <br /> Sixth District permit female chickens <br /> Al "Buddy' Kirsits • Would set standards for all enclosures and require a building permit for all <br /> At Large such accessory structures which are associated with a limited agriculture <br /> permit in order to address health and safety concerns <br /> Timothy A. Rouse <br /> At Large A companion ordinance addressing specific health and public safety <br /> regulations will be filed at a later date so' that the public hearings on both of <br /> Karen L.
