All rights reserved. <br />This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of 11 pages, referred to in <br />and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer <br />for Professional Services dated August 10, 2021. <br />Engineer’s Services <br />Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. <br />Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below. <br />PART 1 – BASIC SERVICES <br />A1.01 Project Scope <br />The proposed project consists of multiple intersection improvements including realignments, pavement <br />removals, reconstruction. Each intersection may also includes sidewalk, lighting, drainage water main and <br />service improvements. <br />Twyckenham and Longfellow: Existing right-of-way and utilities will be identified and new conceptual <br />intersection configurations will be prepared to review with City staff. Once a new alignment is selected, <br />construction documents will be prepared. The design and construction plans will include removal of <br />existing pavement, curbs and sidewalks; new pavement, curbs, sidewalks, water main and services, <br />drainage structures, storm sewers and lighting and relocation of fire hydrants. Legal descriptions, right-of- <br />way vacation documents and supporting exhibit drawings will be prepared to clean up the right-of-way <br />and adjacent parcels based on the new road configuration. <br />Riverside, California and Leland: Existing right-of-way and utilities will be identified and new conceptual <br />intersection configurations will be prepared to review with City staff. Once a new alignment is selected, <br />construction documents will be prepared. The design and construction plans will include removal of <br />existing pavement, curbs and sidewalks; new pavement, curbs, sidewalks, water main and services, <br />drainage structures, storm sewers and lighting; relocation of fire hydrants and alley improvements. Legal <br />descriptions, right-of-way vacation documents and supporting exhibit drawings will be prepared to clean <br />up the right-of-way and adjacent parcels based on the new road configuration. <br />Oakwood and Beverly: Existing right-of-way and utilities will be identified and new conceptual <br />intersection configurations will be prepared to review with City staff. Once a new alignment is selected, <br />construction documents will be prepared. The design and construction plans will include removal of <br />existing pavement, curbs and sidewalks; water main and services, new pavement, curbs, sidewalks, <br />drainage structures, storm sewers and lighting; relocation of fire hydrants. Legal descriptions, right-of-way <br />vacation documents and supporting exhibit drawings will be prepared to clean up the right-of-way and <br />adjacent parcels based on the new road configuration. <br />Ford and Walnut: Existing right-of-way and utilities will be identified and new conceptual improvements <br />will be prepared to review with City staff. Once the scope of improvements is determined, construction <br />documents will be prepared. The design and construction plans will likely include removal and <br />replacement of existing pavement, curbs and sidewalks; new striping, sidewalks, guardrail and lighting.
