He provided a map of the subject property(copy attached). <br /> In response to a question from Council Member Kirsits, Mr. Schalliol noted that the fire station <br /> may have to be relocated. <br /> It' <br /> Council Member Kirsits asked what was the market value of the fire station property, noting that <br /> there are many rumors that the estimates are very low. He stated that the property should not be <br /> given away and would like the Council to be updated on this. <br /> Mr. Schalliol noted that a precedent has been set in light of the Memorial Hospital relocation <br /> projections for a fire station. He noted that two (2) medic ambulances (1 for the county and 1 for <br /> the city) are currently housed at the fire station in question. He noted that the proposed zoning is <br /> consistent with the applicable zoning regulations. <br /> r <br /> Following discussion, Council Member Kelly made a motion, seconded by Council Member <br /> Coleman, that Substitute Bill No. 89-03 be recommended favorably to Council.
