SOUTH BEND COMMON COUNCIL OCTOBER 13, 2003 <br /> INFORMAL MEETING <br /> 18. President White advised that Councilmember Kuspa will talk about a meeting of the <br /> Zoning and Annexation Committee that he would like to have on Wednesday, <br /> October 22, 2003 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. <br /> 19. Councilmember Pfeifer brought up the matter of CDBG funds and the problem with <br /> departments getting their grant requests in on time. Councilmember King noted that <br /> last year requests were also not submitted on time. It was noted that this year the <br /> Human Rights Commission and the Police Department did not get their requests for <br /> funds in on time. It was noted that the Mayor reviews these requests and can make <br /> changes and that the departments that turned their requests in late last year still did <br /> receive funds. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 6:58 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted: <br /> Loretta J.
