SOUTH BEND COMMON COUNCIL MARCH 10, 2003 <br /> INFORMAL MEETING <br /> 3. Under"Special Business," City Clerk Loretta Duda will read into the record a letter <br /> from Ann Kolata of the Community & Economic Development Department <br /> providing Notice of Public Meeting concerning a Brownfield Clean-Up Grant <br /> Application. <br /> 4. Bill No. 8-03 Third Reading will be heard on March 24, 2003 <br /> 5. Bill No. 11-03 Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand will <br /> offer an amendment on the floor <br /> 6. Bill No. 13-03 Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand will <br /> offer an amendment on the floor <br /> 7. Bill No. 2-03 This is a substitute bill <br /> 8. Bill No. 03-27 Substitute bill needs to be accepted <br /> 9. Bill No. 03-27 & Motion required to combine bills for purposes of <br /> Bill No. 03-28 Public Hearing <br /> 10. Bill No. 03-29 Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand will <br /> offer an amendment on the floor <br /> "PEACE"RESOLUTION" <br /> Council President White advised that at "Privilege of the Floor" there may be a number of <br /> individuals present in regard to the request the Council recently received to adopt a "Peace <br /> Resolution." Councilmember Aranowski will monitor the time to allow each speaker three (3) <br /> minutes. President White noted that she sent a letter to Ms. Ellen Stecker advising that the Council <br /> did not support introduction of the Resolution. It was noted that the Resolution must have a sponsor <br /> and should that question come up, Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand will speak to that <br /> issue from a legal perspective. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 6:59 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted: <br /> Loretta J.
