ORDINANCE NO. ~ 3 ~ - ~ <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND <br />ESTABLISHING AN HISTORIC LANDMARK FOR THE PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 853 FOREST, IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />The Historic preservation Commission of South Bend and St. Joseph County (the <br />"Commission"), with the consent of the owners, has petitioned for the designation of the <br />Following described real property, commonly known as 853 Forest, South Bend< <br />Indiana, as an Historic landmark under the Ordinance No 5565-73; as amended to wit: <br />Lot 37 & %2 vac alley <br />N&adj <br />E P Chapin's 1St <br />Tax Key No. 18-1016-0618 <br />The above-referenced property and the improvements located thereon shall be commonly <br />hereinafter referred to as the "Propert}~'. <br />The Commission recommends that the designation of the Property be designated <br />as an historic landmark. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA as follows: <br />Section I. The Property commonly known as 853 Forest, South Bend Indiana <br />a more particularly described as follows: <br />Lot 37 & %2 vac alley <br />N&adj <br />E P Chapin's 1St <br />Tax Key No. 18-1016-0618 <br />Be and hereby is designated and established as an Historic Landmark under Ordinance <br />No. 5565-73, as amended.. The zoning rules and regulations applicable to landmarks <br />shall be applicable thereto upon the passage hereof. This designation shall expire upon <br />the Commission's approval a demolition permit for all of the improvements thereon. <br />
