Councilmember Henry <br />Davis, Jr., seconded the motion which carried. Councilmember Varner made a motion to refer this bill to the <br />Personnel & Finance and Health and Public Safety Committee and set it for Public Hearing and <br />Third Reading on November 12, 2012. Councilmember Oliver Davis seconded the motion <br />which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br /> <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />REPORTS FROM THE AREA PLAN COMMISSION: <br /> <br />BILL NO. 74-11 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AMENDING CHAPTER <br /> 21 OF THE SOUTH BEND MUNICIPAL CODE ARTICLE 2, <br /> RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS, TO ALLOW THE RAISING AND <br /> CARE OF CHICKENS AS AN ACCESSORY USE; AND <br /> ADDING CERTAIN RELATED DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />Councilmember Henry Davis, Jr., made a motion to accept the substitute version of this bill as on <br />File in the Office of the City Clerk. Additionally, Councilmember Oliver Davis made a <br />motion to refer this bill to the Zoning & Annexation Committee and set for Public Hearing and <br />Third Reading on November 26, 2012.
