Talboom Deputy <br /> Mary Beth Wisniewski Chief Deputy <br /> <br /> <br />REPORT FROM THE SUB-COMMITTEE ON MINUTES <br /> <br />Councilmember Scott made a motion that the minutes of the September 24, 2012 Meeting of the <br />Council be accepted and placed on file. Councilmember Oliver Davis seconded the motion <br />which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br /> <br />SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> <br />BILL NO. 12-67 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, HONORING <br />LASALLE INTERMEDIATE ACADEMY FOR BEING <br />SELECTED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF <br />EDUCATION AS A NATIONAL BLUE RIBBON <br /> <br /> <br />Councilmember Oliver Davis made a motion to continue this bill indefinitely. Councilmember <br />Varner seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br /> <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY ON THE SOUTH BEND TRANSPORTATION <br />CORPORATION (TRANSPO) BOARD <br />Vice-President Oliver Davis announced that the Council has an opening to the TRANSPO <br />Board. He advised that application will be accepted until October 19, 2012. Applications can be <br />th <br />obtained on the Council website: www.southbendin.gov or in the Office of the City Clerk, 4 <br />Floor County-City Building, 227 W. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana.
