Conservation of property values: The surrounding property values should be conserved with the CB Community Business District zoning. 5. Responsible development and growth: It is responsible development and growth to allow vacant property to be used as part of a larger development project. Recommendation: Based on information available prior to the public hearing,-the staff recommends that the petition be sent to the Common Council with a favorable recommendation. Analysis: The rezoning is an extension of the southern CB Community Business District. It is compatible with the surrounding commercial and industrial lend uses.
