Qtommtttt Zeport <br /> Oaks', Urrtatiort, Cultural &Is au4 enttrtaintatut tvm-mttt* <br /> The November 11, 2002 meeting of the Parks, Recreation, Cultural Arts and Entertainment was <br /> called to order by its Chairperson, Council Member Sean Coleman at 4:00 p.m. in the Council <br /> Informal Meeting Room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members Varner, Kirsits, Aranowski, Pfeifer, King, <br /> Kelly, Coleman, Kuspa and White; Community & Economic Development Director Jon Hunt„ <br /> Deputy City Attorney Thomas Bodnar,and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney. <br /> Council Member Coleman noted that the first item on the agenda was to review Bill No. 81-02 <br /> which would appropriate $130,000 from Fund 201 and $45,000 from Fund 405 for construction <br /> costs of the Potawatomi Zoo Hospital. <br /> Council Member Coleman noted that no presenter was present from the City Administration. He <br /> then called upon Deputy City Attorney Thomas Bodnar to be the guest presenter on the bill. <br /> Mr. Bodnar noted that he is the attorney for the Park Board of Commissioners. The Bill would <br /> appropriate monies to pay for the construction of the Potawatomi Zoo Hospital which represent <br /> donations from the Zoological Society. <br /> tS'. <br /> Council Member King then made a motion, seconded by Council Member Kuspa that Bill No. 81- <br /> 02 be recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed. <br /> Under unfinished business, Council Member Pfeifer asked for an update on: <br /> 1. Security at Potawatomi Zoo. <br /> 2. Current status of the donations received for the wallabies. <br /> 3.
