It is our hope that second reading <br /> and approval will take place at the November 23rd meeting as later <br /> passage will not allow the State Board of Tax Commissioners to review <br /> and approve said ordinances. <br /> Several ordinances will be filed as follows. One will deal with <br /> transfers between departments within the General Fund. One will deal <br /> with additional appropriations where necessary and appropriate, and <br /> the final ordinance will deal with the transfers between accounts in <br /> the same funds for all other funds of the City of South Bend. While <br /> the amounts may seem excessive, this is due to the Indiana State Tax <br /> Board' s order to cut both 1987 and 1988 budgets of the City of South <br /> Bend.
