• j <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 77/9- ri <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $11,950.00 FROM <br /> THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM IMPROVEMENT <br /> FUND FOR PURCHASE OF REPAIRS AND <br /> IMPROVEMENT AT THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> The Morris Civic Auditorium is owned by the City of South <br /> Bend and is managed by the Century Center Board of Managers. <br /> The Century Center Board of Managers has determined that <br /> it is in the best public interest to purchase repairs and <br /> equipment, as described below. <br /> The Morris Civic Auditorium is in need of new electrical <br /> service for the projection and spotlight booths, electrical service <br /> and lighting for the recently completed loading bridge, emergency <br /> repair of the southeast corner of the roof, and replacement seat <br /> covers. Money is available for these purposes in the Morris Civic <br /> Auditorium Improvement Fund. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, as follows: <br /> SECTION I. The amount of $11,950.00 is hereby <br /> appropriated and ordered set apart out of the Morris Civic <br /> Auditorium Improvement Fund for the purchase of the following <br /> described repairs and equipment: <br /> Electrical Service to the Projection <br /> and Spotlight Booth $ 7,300. 00 <br /> Electrical Service and Lighting for Hoist <br /> and Work Area on Loading Bridge 1,900.00 <br /> Repair on Southeast Corner of <br /> Auditorium Roof 1,000 .00 <br /> Replacement Auditorium Seat Covers 1,750.00 <br /> $ 11,950.00 <br /> SECTION II.
