ORDINANCE NO. 7816-87 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR <br /> PROPERTY LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 460 FEET WEST <br /> OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF <br /> MAYFLOWER AND SAMPLE STREETS IN THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br /> Indiana: <br /> SECTION I . Ordinance No. 4990-68, as amended, which ordinance is <br /> commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br /> be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification <br /> of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. <br /> Joseph County, State of Indiana: <br /> Part of the East Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 17, <br /> Township 37 North, Range 2 East, described as follows: Beginning <br /> 457.86 feet West of the intersection of the West line of Route <br /> Number 123 , otherwise known as Mayflower Road and the South line <br /> of Grant Road (Sample Street) ; thence South parallel with said <br /> State route Number 123 , 420 .00 feet; thence West, parallel with <br /> the south line of Grant Road, a distance of 442.14 feet; thence <br /> North 420 .00 feet to the south line of Grant Road; thence East <br /> , 442. 14 feet to the place of beginning. <br /> be and the same is hereby established as D-Light Industrial, A-Height and <br /> Area, excepting here from the northern one hundred and sixty feet ( 160 ' ) <br /> of said parcel which shall be established as C-Commercial, A-Height and <br /> Area. <br /> SECTION II. This rezoning ordinance is subject to the petitioner <br /> recording in the Recorder' s Office of St. Joseph County, in a form <br /> acceptable to the Council Attorney and the Common Council, a covenant <br /> limited the use of the D-Light Industrial area heretofore described to <br /> mini-storage warehousing or any use listed in the C-Commerical District <br /> category of the South Bend Municipal Code. <br /> SECTION III.
