Auten Connector Annexation Area 5 <br />K. Hiring Plan <br />It is anticipated that this annexation will not result in the elimination of jobs for <br />employees of any other governmental entities. The German Township Trustee has <br />been notified of this Annexation. <br />SECTION III. MUNICIPAL SERVICES <br />A. Public Works <br />Sewer - Currently, there is no sanitary sewer on any boundary of this site. A sanitary <br />sewer plan for this and surrounding areas is under study, but has not yet been adopted. <br />Sewer services will be constructed and provided when the road is developed. <br />Water - The South Bend Water Works currently has a 12" water main on the west <br />side of Mayflower Road that is looped at Brick and Adams Road. There should be more <br />than adequate capacity for the annexation area. Water services will be provided to <br />adjacent areas of the roadway when the road is constructed. <br />Extensions of, or taps into sanitary sewer and water lines shall be governed by <br />I.C. 36- 9 -22 -2, T.C. 8 -1.5 -3 and 4, and the rules and regulations of the South Bend <br />Water Works and Sewer Utility. <br />Streets - Currently, there are no public improvements in the annexation area. The full <br />array of improvements will be extended with the proposed roadway for future service to <br />adjacent areas. Water and sewer services will be constructed with the roadway at an <br />estimated cost of 1.3 Million Dollars per lane -mile.
