ORDINANCE NO. __Iw'g-g' 7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $40, 000 FROM <br /> THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT <br /> R&S 8701 CONSTRUCTION OF A TRAFFIC SIGNAL <br /> AT THE INTERSECTION OF BENDIX DRIVE AND <br /> SUGAR MAPLE LANE. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and <br /> to provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles , certain <br /> improvements are necessary at the intersection of Bendix Drive and <br /> Sugar Maple Lane within the City of South Bend. <br /> Funds are now needed to pay for the cost of the construction <br /> portion of this project. These funds are available from the Local <br /> Road and Street Fund. <br /> NOV, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br /> Section I . The following sum of money is hereby ordered set <br /> apart from the local Road and Street Fund for the project in the <br /> amount set forth below: <br /> PROJECT NO.
