• L <br /> ORDINANCE NO. -77,5-8- 7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $525 , 000 FROM <br /> THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT <br /> R&S 8702 PAVING MATERIALS . <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and <br /> to provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles , certain <br /> improvements are necessary. The improvements include paving <br /> materials and other street repairs on various streets within the <br /> City of South Bend. <br /> Funds are now needed to pay for the cost of materials . <br /> These funds are available from the Local Road and Street Fund. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br /> Section I . The following sum of money is hereby ordered set <br /> apart from the local Road and Street Fund for the project in the <br /> amount set forth below: <br /> PROJECT NO.
