ORDINANCE NO. '7 -7S-6-g7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AN ADDITIONAL <br /> $62 ,500 FROM THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND <br /> TO PROJECT R&S 8706 EDISON RD. WIDENING FROM <br /> CRESTWOOD TO HICKORY RD. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands and <br /> to provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles , certain <br /> improvements are necessary for some streets within the City of <br /> South Bend. <br /> Additional funds are now needed to pay the City' s share of <br /> construction costs for these improvements . These funds are <br /> available from the Local Road and Street Fund. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br /> Section I . The following additional sum of money is hereby <br /> ordered set apart from the local Road and Street Fund for the <br /> project in the amount set forth below: <br /> PROJECT NO. ` DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br /> 8706 Edison Rd.
