BILL NO. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 7 7 et 7- IT 7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $ 14,225.00 RECEIVED <br /> FROM THE INDIANA STATE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN <br /> SERVICES, EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANT <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to deliver services to homeless individuals <br /> within one community, the City of South Bend received funds from <br /> the Indiana Department of Human Services for the delivery of such <br /> services through programs administered by the United Religious <br /> Community and Youth Services Bureau. The funds appropriated in <br /> the ordinance will aid in defraying the cost of providing <br /> assistance for those needing shelter who are aided by either of <br /> the two agencies. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br /> of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br /> SECTION I. The sum of $ 14,225.00 is hereby <br /> appropriated and allocated among accounts as set forth below. <br /> PROJECT NO. DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br /> 87 United Religious Community $ 7,925.00 <br /> of St. Joseph County <br /> 87 Youth Services Bureau $ 6,300.00 <br /> of St. Joseph County <br /> T O T A L $ 14,225.00 <br /> SECTION II.
