ORDINANCE NO . 7 794-g 7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE <br /> PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF THE CENTURY <br /> CENTER FUND AND THE PARKING GARAGE FUND OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND , INDIANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br /> BEGINNING JANUARY 1 , 1988 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31 , <br /> 1988 INCLUDING ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND <br /> OBLIGATIONS , AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL <br /> TAKE EFFECT . <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT : <br /> It is necessary to pass this Ordinance in order to <br /> appropriate monies to defray the expenses of Century Center and the <br /> Parking Garages of the City of South Bend , Indiana for 1988 . <br /> NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND , INDIANA AS FOLLOWS : <br /> SECTION I . For the expenses of Century Center and the <br /> Parking Garages for the fiscal year ending December 31 , 1988 , the <br /> following sums of money , as set forth in the attached budget which is <br /> made a part hereof , are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out <br /> of the funds hereinafter named , and for the purposes hereinafter <br /> specified , subject to the laws governing the same . The sums herein <br /> appropriated shall be deemed to include all expenditures authorized to <br /> be made in said year , unless otherwise expressly stipulated or <br /> provided by the law . <br /> SECTION II . For the fiscal year ending December 31 , <br /> 1988 , there is hereby appropriated from Funds of said City to wit : <br /> Century Center Fund and Parking Garage Fund . <br /> SECTION III . This Ordinance shall be in full force and <br /> effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval <br /> by the Mayor . <br /> //7 <br />
