'77Q3-g7 o <br /> a at_5 <br /> AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES AND FIXING THE RATE t <br /> OF TAXATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING REVENUE <br /> TO MEET THE NECESSARY EXPENSES OF THE CIVIL CITY <br /> OF SOUTH BEND FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31 , <br /> 1988 . <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT : <br /> It is necessary to pass this Ordinance in order to levy <br /> taxes and fix the rate of taxation for the purpose of raising <br /> revenue to meet the necessary expenses for 1988 . <br /> NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND , INDIANA AS FOLLOWS : <br /> SECTION I .
