ORDINANCE NO . 1 ri Cla- S1 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES <br /> FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE <br /> EXPENSES OF SEVERAL DEPARTMENTS OF THE <br /> CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND , INDIANA FOR <br /> THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1 , <br /> 1988 , AND ENDING DECEMBER 31 , 1988 , <br /> INCLUDING ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS o3�.)- --S ' <br /> AND OBLIGATIONS , AND FIXING A TIME x� <br /> WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT . V qU <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT : <br /> It is necessary to pass this Ordinance in order to <br /> appropriate monies to defray the expenses of several departments of <br /> the Civil City of South Bend , Indiana for 1988 . <br /> NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND , INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS : <br /> SECTION I . For the expenses of the Civil City <br /> Government , its various departments , funds , commissions , and <br /> institutions for the fiscal year ending December 31 , 1988 , the <br /> following sums of money , as set forth in the attached budget which <br /> is made a part hereof , are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart <br /> out of the funds hereinafter named , and for the purposes hereinafter <br /> specified , subject to the laws governing the same . The sums herein <br /> appropriated shall be deemed to include all expenditures authorized <br /> to be made in said year , unless otherwise expressly stipulated or <br /> provided by the law . <br /> SECTION II . For the fiscal year ending December 31 , <br /> 1988 , there is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund and from <br /> Funds other than the General Fund , of said City to wit : Park <br /> Maintenance Fund , Motor Vehicle Highway Fund , Fire Pension Fund , <br /> Police Pension Fund , Liability Insurance and Premium Reserve Fund , <br /> Cumulative Capital Development Fund , Park District Bond Fund , Urban <br /> Redevelopment Bond Fund , Junk Vehicle Fund , Unsafe Building Fund , <br /> Economic Development Revenue Bond Fund , Discovery Hall Fund , Morris <br /> Civic Auditorium Fund , T . I . F . Allocation - C . B . D . - Debt Service <br /> Fund and Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund . <br /> SECTION III .
