<br /> <br /> <br />INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br /> <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> DIVISION OF ENGINEERING <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Anne Fuchs, Clerk <br />Board of Public Works <br />FROM: Finn Cavanaugh, Project Engineer, Division of Engineering <br />SUBJECT: Award Quotes Memo 121-002: Tree and Stump Removal 2021 <br />DATE: June 11th, 2021 <br />On June 8th, 2021, the Board of Public Works opened and read quotes for the above project. <br /> <br />The bidders ranked as follows: <br /> <br />Bidder Total Quote Amount <br />1. K&R Tree Service, LLC $25,098.00 <br />2. KC Tree, Inc. [Non-Responsive] <br /> <br />Two responses were received by the Board, one from K&R Tree Service LLC, and one from KC <br />Tree, Inc. KC Tree, Inc. sent an email containing a quoted amount for the project, in the amount <br />of $19,800.00, yet did not provide any of the required documentation including the standard <br />contractor’s quote form. As such, KC Tree Inc. did not provide a responsive quote eligible for <br />opening. <br /> <br />The quote provided by K&R Tree Service, LLC, contained the required documentation. <br />Engineering Recommends award of the quote in the amount of $25,098.00 to the lowest <br />responsive bidder, K&R Tree Service, LLC. <br /> <br />Engineering recommends rejecting all other quotes. <br /> <br />The Department of Public Works has appropriated sufficient funds in PR-00009630 from the Motor <br />Vehicle Highway fund (202-06-602-505-431000--PROJ00000280) <br /> <br />Please respond with any questions. <br /> <br />Enclosure <br />Quote Tabulation <br /> <br />
