BILL NO . <br /> ORDINANCE NO . 7 734-- '7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS <br /> IN THE AMOUNT OF $411 , 837 . 00 WITHIN THE GENERAL <br /> FUND AND $174 , 679 . 00 WITHIN THE PARK MAINTENANCE <br /> FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND , INDIANA FOR THE <br /> YEAR 1987 . <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT : <br /> Unforseen conditions have developed since the adoption <br /> of the existing operating budget which necessitate the appropriation <br /> of additional funds within the General Fund and the Park Maintenance <br /> Fund of the City of South Bend from adequate surpluses which are <br /> available for this purpose . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br /> the City of South Bend , Indiana as follows : <br /> SECTION I . That the following sums of money are hereby <br /> appropriated for the year 1987 from various departments within the <br /> General Fund and Park Maintenance Fund as listed below: <br /> DEPT .
