• <br /> BILL NO . <br /> ORDINANCE NO . 7 77.y--e7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS <br /> IN THE AMOUNT OF $267 , 348 . 00 WITHIN THE <br /> SOLID WASTE OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE FUND , <br /> THE SOUTH BEND/CLAY WATER WORKS OPERATING <br /> FUND , THE SEWAGE WORKS OPERATION AND MAINTEN- <br /> ANCE FUND , THE SOUTH BEND/CLAY SEWAGE WORKS <br /> OPERATING FUND AND THE CENTURY CENTER OPERATING <br /> FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND , INDIANA FOR <br /> THE YEAR 1987 AS SET FORTH BELOW. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT : <br /> Unforseen conditions have developed since the adoption of <br /> the existing operating budget which necessitate the appropriation of <br /> additional funds within the Solid Waste Operations and Maintenance <br /> Fund , the South Bend/Clay Water Works Operating Fund , the Sewage <br /> Works Operation and Maintenance Fund, the South Bend/Clay Sewage <br /> Works Operating Fund and the Century Center Operating Fund of the <br /> City of South Bend from adequate surpluses which are available within <br /> these funds . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br /> the City of South Bend , Indiana as follows : <br /> SECTION I .
