ORDINANCE NO. 77,W-r7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $230,000. 00 FROM THE <br /> FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND COMMONLY REFERRED <br /> TO AS THE GENERAL REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND <br /> TO ACCOUNT 4399.0 OTHER CONTRACTUALS WITHIN SAID <br /> FUND TO PAY THE CITY'S PORTION OF COSTS ASSOCIATED <br /> WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF A DEMONSTRATION HYDRO <br /> ELECTRIC PLANT ON THE ST. JOSEPH RIVER. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> Funds are needed for the City' s portion of costs associated with <br /> the construction of a Demonstration Hydro Electric Plant in <br /> conjunction with the State of Indiana. Monies are available within <br /> the General Revenue Sharing Fund. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION I. That the sum of $230,000.00 is hereby appropriated <br /> from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund commonly referred to as the <br /> General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be <br /> administered by the Department of Public Parks and will be <br /> distributed as set forth below: <br /> PROGRAM FA 261 <br /> HYDRO ELECTRIC PLANT CONSTRUCTION <br /> ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br /> 4399.0 Other Contractuals $230,000.00 <br /> SECTION II.
