IRELAND ROAD • SOUTH BEND, IN 46614 • 574.232.9600 <br />PROPOSAL <br /> <br />June 1, 2021 <br /> <br />Mike and Jenn Stone <br />917 Leland Avenue <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br /> <br />Re: 512 Lindsey Maintenance and repair of original 1/1 double hung wood windows <br /> <br />We propose to furnish the necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the above <br />referenced project as described below, on a time and materials basis, with reasonable <br />assumptions made for preparation of the windows for reinstallation. <br /> <br />Scope of Work for HGC Proposal #E00621: <br /> <br />1. Remove 1/1 wood window sashes and deliver to shop. <br />2. Prepare jamb by removing existing paint layers down to a serviceable level, priming, and <br />repainting; new sash cord on existing pulleys/weights, clean pulley hardware. <br />3. Prepare sashes by removing existing paint layers down to a serviceable level, priming, <br />and repainting; remove glazing completely and reglaze; replace broken glass, clean <br />hardware. <br />4. Prepare trim stops by removing existing paint layers down to a serviceable level, <br />priming, and repainting; reproduce new trim stops where trim does not exist or is <br />deteriorated beyond repair. <br />5. Reinstall sashes in jambs. <br /> <br />Base bid (per opening): $800 – $1,200 <br />Base bid (15 openings): $12,000 - $18,000 <br /> <br />Clarifications <br />1. Existing storm windows remain in place throughout project with no work performed. <br />2. All work to be performed Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM <br />3. This proposal is valid for 20 days. <br />4. The following are not included: boarding openings, new hardware, new weights, new <br />glass (other than where broken), (9) vinyl window maintenance. <br />5. Building permit is not provided. <br />6.
