The City serves as a fiscal agent and recipient of funds for the eligible
agencies receiving the SPC dollars.
The funding allocated provides assistance with housing for Madison Center's severely mentally
ill clients and Aids Ministries HN/Aids clients. As noted in the conveyance letter from the
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), addressing homelessness is one of
HUD's top priorities and the continuance of these projects makes a significant contribution
toward assuring the development of a continuum of care system in our community.
John Sellers or I will be presenting this ordinance at the May 27, 2008 meeting. Please contact
me with any questions prior to then. Thank you.
Sincer ,
Pamela C. M er
Director
Cc: J. Sellers
J. Gibney
C. Fanello
J. March
B.
