229 <br />Friday June 16th. 1 <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. <br />Remonstrance filed by the property owners on Foote street against paying for the <br />street intersections on the Foote street Improvement. <br />The Lake Shore & Michigan Southern R. R. Co were given permission to excavate in the <br />street for Railroad gates at Christian and Sample street. <br />Hearing given on Declaratory Resolutions for the following improvements, to-wit;;P_60fe5f" <br />Grade,. Curb,.Walk and Macadam, Scott & Lindsey street Pipe Sewer, Tutt street Pipe Sewer <br />All under improvement resolutions Nos. 2672 271 & 273 respectively. <br />Engineer filed his estimated cost as follows; - <br />Foote street Grade, Curb, Walk & Macadam $22500.00 <br />Scott & Lindsey street Pipe Sewer 42000.00 <br />Tutt street Pipe Sewer 22000.00 <br />In the above matter no remonstr-antors appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The <br />Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits to <br />the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said <br />improvements and the sa7h6 are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids for the above improvements;also for <br />Pipe Sewer on Harrison avenue, Grade, Curb & Walk on Kosciuszko street, Marion Boulevard, <br />Eddy street, Walks on Johnson street. <br />Be it r4solved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the 19th <br />clay of June and on the 26th day of June, 1905, to the effect that this Board will receive <br />bids for said improvements up to 10 a. m. on the 5th day of July.-1905.
