176 March 29th, 1905. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 247. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement.be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: A Brick (Block) pavement on Elm street from the South line of the City Cemetery to the North line of Washington street..Said improvement shall be known and designated as THE ELM STREET BRICK PAVEMENT and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil -Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 30th day of March and on the 6th day of April 1905, in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune. This Board will give a hearong on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the llth day of April, 1905 at 7:15 p. m. Adopted this 29th day of March, 1905. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. Said improvement shall be known and designated as THE EAST LASALLE AVE14UE BRICK PAVEMENT and shall.be. constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, Piled herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 30th day of March and on the 6th day of April 1905, in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune. Defrees an order, to day to fit it, and hope that it will be to your satisfaction in a day or two. The expansion joint, unless made very large, sometimes fills up with hard material that permits expansion only by buldging. I hope that you are quite well, am really cannot understand why you are not ordering some Warren's Bitulithic Pavement for'South Bend.
