Barnes. <br />James Nelson. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 239• <br />Resolved by the.Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That <br />an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: <br />Sprinkling from the 15th day of April, 1905 to the 1st day of November, 1905, of the <br />following streets,— Michigan street from Navarre street. to Broadway, Main street from <br />Navarre street to South Street, Lafayette street from Navarre street to Monroe street, <br />Taylor street from Washington street to one—half block of aTefferson street, LaSalle <br />avenue from Michigan avenue to Michigan street, Colfax avenue from Michigan street <br />to Lafayette street, Washington street from Vistula avenue to Scott street, Jefferson <br />street from St. Joseph street to Taylor street, Wayne street from St. Joseph street <br />to Main street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as THE STREET <br />SPRINKLING CONTRACT and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications <br />prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of -this resolution and <br />proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published on the 22nd <br />day of March and on the 29th day of March, 1905, in the South Bend Daily Times and <br />the South Bend Daily Tribune. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at <br />its office in the City Hall on the lst day of April, 1905, at 10 A. M. and will <br />receive bids up to 10 am., on the 4th day of April, 1905. <br />Adopted this 21st day of March, 1905. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />Authority given to the City Treasurer to purchase a Cash Tray and Book Cart for <br />the City's Books. <br />Notice given to the public that the Portage avenue crossing over the I. I. & I <br />Railroad viaduct would be obstructed for a period of about 10 days owing to <br />the reconstruction of the viaduct. <br />Application filed by Alex Lauraine for Inspector on City work. <br />Petition filed by the South Bend Chilled Plow Co for cross walk on Washington <br />street across Circle avenue. <br />Referred to the Street Com'Rissioner. <br />
