Tuesday October llth, 1904. <br />69 <br />SPECIAL SESSION TUESDAY EVENING AT 7:15 P. M..00TOBER 11TH, 1904. <br />Hearing given on Declaratory resolutions for the following improvements, to -wit; <br />Pipe Sewer on Robertson street from Prairie avenue to alley East of Chapin street, <br />'"oodward avenue from Hudson avenue to California avenue, under improvement resolutions <br />Nos. 224, 2252 respectfully. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The <br />Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits to <br />the property effected and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of <br />said improvements and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Engineer filed his estimated cost of the improvements as follows; <br />Robertson street .............$ a75 , <br />Woodward avenue .............. a's0o,_ <br />In the matter of the improvement of Robertson street and Woodward avenue under <br />Improvement resolution 224 & 225 Be it resolved that notices be published in the <br />South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune on thel3th day of October 1904 <br />and on the20th day of October 1904 to the effect that this Board will receive 'kids <br />for said improvements up to 10 A. M. on the 25th day of October 1904. The Board reserves <br />the right to reject any and all bids. <br />Hearing given on assessment rolls and final estimates for the following <br />improvements, to -wit; <br />Cement walk on N. Side of Madison street from Eddy street to <br />Arthur street, N. Jackson street from Washington street to Linden avenue, trading <br />South Bend avenue from Eddy street to Woodworth avenue, Grade, Curb & Walk on Orange <br />street from alley East of Adams street to Sadie street all under improvement reso- <br />lutions Nos. 211, 201, 193, 194 respectively. <br />No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed The Board therefore find <br />that the property assessed in said amended rolls filed September 27th, 1904 is benefitted <br />in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls and the Board of Public Works find <br />that the assessment rolls filed September 27th 1;04 and the final estimate allowed <br />September 27th, 1904 should be and the same are hereby in all things, ratified, <br />confirmed and approved. <br />P'resident. <br />
