The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. James Nelson given notice not to dump or throw any more dirt on the North side of the tracks of the Indiana Railway Company on Vistula avenue. Petition filed and referred to the Engineer for Specifications for Grade, Curb & Walk on Bissell street from Eddy street to Arthur street. Bond of John W. Donahue filed and approved for Carlisle street Grade, Curb & Walk. Contract signed with John W. Donahue for Carlisle street Grade, Curb & Walk. Bond of John W. Donahue filed and -approved for Notre Dame avenue Grade, Curb & Walk. Contract signed with John W. Donahue for Notre Dame avenue Grade, Curb & Walk. President. SPFCTQT, SFSSTON TUESDAY FVPNTMr,. Hearing given on Assessment Rolls and final estimates for the following improvements, to -wit: Grade, Curb & Walk on S. Main street, Pipe Sewer on Osborne street all under improvement resolutions Nos. 177, 196 respectively. No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed the Board find that the property assessed in said rolls filed August 23rd, 1904 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls and the Board of Public Works find that the assessment rolls filed August 23rd, 1904 and the final estimate allowed August 23rd, 1904 should be and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Hearing on Assessment roll and final estimates for Leland avenue Grade, Curb & Walk and Howard street Grade, Curb & Walk under improvement resolutions Nos. 193,179 respectively, continued until Saturday September loth, 1904 at 10 A. M. Hearing given on the following Declaratory resolutions for the following street improvements, to -wit: Grade & Curb on Florence avenue, Grade on Michigan avenue all under improvement resolutions No. 213, 214 respectively. Engineer filed his estimated cost of the improvements as follows; - Florence avenue Grade & Curb .....................$1250.00 Michigan avenue Grade ............................. 969.00 In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed the Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits to the property effected and to the.City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvements and that said declaretory resolutions are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. y` Presiden .
