Saturday September 17th, 1904. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 221. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size•, location and terminal points as follows: Franklin street from Indiana avenue to Blanche street by grading the street to the established grade and constructing cement curbing ion each side of the roadway and Cement sidewalks shall be laid on the west side only and not in freezing weather. Said improvement shall be known and designated as the "FRANKLIN STREET GRADE CURB & WALK." and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution and proposals for bids for the execution of the above works shall be published on the 19th day of September and on -the 26th day of September 1904, in -the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune. This Board will give a hearing on°this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 4th day of October 1904, at 7:15 P. M., and will receivebids up to 10 a.m., on the 5th day of October 1904. Adopted this 17th day of September 1904. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 222. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Bissell street from Eddy street to Arthur street by grading the street its full width and constructing cement sidewalk and cement curbing on each side of the roadway. Said improvement shall be known and designated as the "BISSELL STREET GRADE CURB & WALK" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution and proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published on the 19th day of September and on the 26th day of September, 1904, in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows; Vistula avenue from Kline street to the City Limits at Ernsperger street. By grading said avenue to its full width of sixty-siz (66) feet and constructing cement curbing on each side of the roadway as shown on plans . All dirt in excavation shall be used to make the fill at the Denslow or Springbrook culver. Said improvement shall be known and designated as the "VISTULA AVENUE GRADE & CURB"/and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution for the above work shall be published on the 1Gth day of September and on the 26th day of September 190a4, in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 4th day of October 1904 at Z7;15 P.M. Adopted this 17th day of September 1904.
