The Board met in regular session at 10 A Plat of Mayers Addition filed and referred to M. Al1 menbers present. Engineer. Plat of Stull's 4th and 5th additions filed and referred to Engineer. Contracts were awarded for the following ?ipe Sewers; B irdsell street Pipe Sewer L. ',H. Webster. Marietta street Pipe Sewer L. H. Webster Osborne, street Pipe Sewer L.H. Webster. Engineer reported grade on Oak Parr Court and Vassar avenue. Same was approved. IMPROVE yENT RLSOLUTI ON NO. 208. Resolved by the Board of Pub lic Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Brick paving the a-1.1ey between Michigan street and St. Joseph street, running North and South from Wayne street to the Brick pavement on the second alley south of Wayne St. Said improvement shall be known and designated as the "Alley pavement between Michigan and St. Joseph Street" and shall be constructed according to the plan s and specificat- ions prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this and proposals for bids for the execution o , the eb ove work shall be published on the 8th day of August and on the 15 day of August 1904, in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 23 day of August 1904, at 7:15 P. M. and will received b ids up to 10 A. M. on the 24th day of August 1904. The purpose of this vacation is to relocate a thoroughfare parraliel to ::aid Beryl street and in conformity' with adjacent streets.
