The Board of Public Works met in regular session at 10 A. 11. All members present' Engineer filed assessment 'rolls for the following improvenents;- Hill street, Pipe Sewer on LaSalle avenue 2 Y g,, camore & Brid A Pipe Sewer an streets Pipe Seewer on Michigan avenue and Grade, Curb & Walk on "Lindsey street. Under Improvement resolutions Nos. 173, 151, 1870 178, respectively. Resolved, that notices of the amounts of the assessments be published for six consecutive days in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that the Board will give a.hearing on such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 26th day of July,. 1904 at 7:15 P. ".'. publication .of such notices shall begin on the 14th day . of July, 1904. Resolved further, that the entire work under the, above contracts be accepted and the final estimates thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 14th day of July 1904 in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend. Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will wive a hearing upon the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 26th day of July, 1904 at 7:15 PRE Deed received for Lot No. 1. Delbert Leer given notice by Board through Chief of Police 11-cWeeny to remove a certain obstruction on Calvert street within 5 days from date. Bond of Joe Swiatowy filed and approved on Vassar avenue Grade, Curb & Walk. Contract signed for same. Bor_d of James Nelson filed and approved on Vistula avenue sewer Connections. Con- tract signed for same. Bond of L. H. Webster filed and approved for Ohio street Sewer Connections. Contract signed for same. 4 .Petition filed by Hastings & Woodworth and 6 others for the Vacation of a portion of Beryl street, and in consideration will donate to the City of South Bend a strip of land 60 feet in width from Leer street to Clyde street said strip being a continuance of Donald street.
