INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> DIVISION OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES <br />TO: Board of Public Works <br />Anne Fuchs, Clerk <br />FROM: Leslie Biek, P.E., Assistant City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Bid Award 2021 Community Crossings Round 1 (PN 121-014) <br />(PROJ-247; PR-8071) <br />DATE: May 17, 2021 <br />On May 11, two (2) bids were opened and read into record by the Board of Public Works for the 2021 <br />Community Crossings Round 1 project (PN 121-014). Division of Engineering, Legal, and Contract <br />Compliance Administrator reviewed the documents and found Milestone Contractors North to be <br />the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Attached is a full bid tabulation which includes <br />division totals and unit pricing. <br />The bid results for all six divisions are as follows: <br />CONTRACTOR BASE BID TOTAL (ALL DIVISIONS) <br />Milestone Contractors North $1,299,800.00 <br />Rieth Riley Construction Co. $1,368,995.90 <br />Milestone has met both MBE and WBE goals set for this project. <br />Funding: Capital Outlay-Infrastructure- Streets and Alleys 455-436010 <br />The Division of Engineering recommends the award of Project No. 121-014- 2021 Community <br />Crossings Round 1 to Milestone Contractors North, Inc for a total bid price of $1,299,800.00. <br />Thank you for your consideration of this request.
