ZONING&ANNEXATION DECEMBER 10, 2012 <br /> 4:05 P.M. <br /> Committee Members Present: Oliver Davis, Dr. Fred Ferlic, Gavin Ferlic <br /> Other Council Present: Tim Scott, Karen White, Derek Dieter <br /> Others Present: Mike Danch, Mark Neal, Erin Blasko, Kathy Cekanski-Farrand, <br /> Gary Libbey, Christa Nayder, John Murphy <br /> Agenda: Bill No. 60-12—Rezone 4626 Burnett Drive <br /> Bill No. 12-86—Special Exception 3733 Locust <br /> Oliver Davis, Chairperson,Zoning &Annexation Committee, with a quorum present <br /> called his scheduled hearing to order with two bills to be considered. <br /> The first presented by Mike Danch was Bill No. 60-12, a petition to rezone a portion of <br /> Burnett Industrial Park from general industrial to general business. Mike was <br /> representing Pet Refuge Inc., who wanted to move and expand their operation from <br /> Mishawaka to South Bend. <br /> Prior to his explanation Christa Nayder, from the Area Plan Commission staff reported <br /> the APC had given the request a unanimous favorable recommendation. <br /> Gavin Ferlic moved to send to Council favorably. Dr. Fred Ferlic followed with a <br /> second. All supported. <br /> Oliver Davis reported receiving a request to continue Bill No. 12-86 until January 14, <br /> 2013. <br /> Gavin Ferlic moved to continue.
