Saint Joseph' s Medical Center, Inc. <br /> 1000 Block, Bendix Drive <br /> PETITION FOR REZONING <br /> TO: Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br /> Dated Filed: Application Number: <br /> Date Area Plan Commission Received: <br /> The undersigned hereby makes application and petitions <br /> the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to amend <br /> the Zoning Ordinance as herein requested. <br /> (1) The property sought to be rezoned is vacant land adjacent to <br /> Petitioner's existing private clinic located in the 1000 <br /> block of Bendix Drive between Hartzer Street and Bonds <br /> Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, in the "Westchester First Unit" <br /> subdivision. <br /> (2) Name of property owner: Saint Joseph' s Medical Center, <br /> Inc. , 811 East Madison, South Bend, Indiana 46617; tele- <br /> phone: (219) 237-7222. <br /> (3) Petitioner owns Lots 22 through 28 . Lots 23 through 27, <br /> inclusive, are currently zoned B-Residential and Lots 22 and <br /> 28 are currently zoned A-Residential. The north one-half of <br /> the first north-south alley east of Bendix Drive is <br /> immediately adjacent to the western edge of Lot 28, and is <br /> being vacated by the Petitioner. Petitioner seeks to <br /> gvl d+h- V'n-coed 1/2 a0' - i <br /> rezone Lot 28/Only from A-Residential "A" Height and Area to <br /> B-Residential "A" Height and Area. <br /> (4) This rezoning is requested so as to allow the following <br /> uses: Additional future parking for public or private <br /> clinics and principal offices of physicians or dentists. <br />
