December 10,2012 <br /> Jitin Kain <br /> City of South Bend <br /> 227 W.Jefferson Blvd.,Suite 1200 <br /> South Bend, IN 46601 <br /> Re: Ignition Park, Phase 1B, Mass Grading <br /> DearJitin: <br /> Enclosed you will find an updated Probable Construction Cost opinion that we have prepared for <br /> the above referenced project. The average probable costs for this Project are estimated to be <br /> $530,000. This work would establish the rough grades for the building pads, roadways and begin <br /> to shape the locations for the drainage and site features(rainwater canals,swales,berms,etc...). <br /> As part of this work,the Contractor would redistribute the stock piles of dirt that are currently on the <br /> site. Additionally, rough grades for future roadways would be cut out and perimeter berms would <br /> be created. This work does not represent the final grades for the site. <br /> We would anticipate that the roadways and site features would be developed further in future <br /> phases of construction.
